Jini & Iyadi

We meet Jini & Iyadi at a wedding which we were coordinating and which Iyadi was the best man, a month to their set June wedding. Jini was a bride who knew exactly what she wanted and had already sourced all her wedding vendors. However due to the kind of a very organized person that she is, wanted a professional to coordinate her Big Day and therefore House of Dotty was exactly that for her.
The wedding was set in the most beautiful destination venues yet - Lake Elementaita Serena Camp. It was an evening wedding with the ceremony beginning at 3pm set at the shores overlooking the beautiful Lake Elementaita, and later the reception dinner at  the well landscaped lawns of the Lake Elementaita Serena Hotel in a beautifully decorated Stretch Tent. There was  a “meet & greet” cocktail zone for the guests the pool side of the hotel after the ceremony as the sun set whilst the couple took sunset photos with their bridal party. Later the guests were ushered by the House of Dotty Team through a walkway made of lite candles in sand bags.
This was the first wedding with Tanja Kibogo Photography, a photographer based both in Germany & Kenya and she was absolutely amazing! Her pics are out of this world!! Kudos to her and her  second shooter Anne Bunnig as well as the videographer – Faith, Faimus Production. Thank you too to the Serena Team led by Chege & Liz.
From the entertainment by the amazing Rouge Band led by their leader – Rita Khatushi, to tasty dinner and flowing drinks, this was one evening well spent for all who were in attendance.  A memorable moment was when Jini surprised Iyadi with video messages from some of their friends from other parts of the world who couldn’t make it to the wedding during dinner. His reaction priceless, he just couldn’t hold back the tears.
Leaning point for us – we were mean’t to have a Mr & Mrs Iyadi cake topper which we forgot to put – one of the major regrets we have for this wedding- but it still looked elegant either way.
Indeed this Malaysian/Kenyan mix was one that will remain memorable to House of Dotty. We were Humbled and Honored to have been part of your Big Day Jini & Iyadi.
